a number of us on the Production Crew tried their hand at this character who proved difficult for the director to settle on i think they finally went with a different design you'd have to watch the film, I can't remember. it was interesting design to try and work out.

This was a preliminary model sheet for the dog design we used in "Dog Daze" episode.

I really enjoy creating Model Sheets and putting expressive poses and attitudes down for the Artist that will follow us up .

Disneys Jungle Book Art

This was a design i did for Consumer Products many years ago,thought i upload a few thing today.

Jungle book style is so fun to draw while it was transitioning from the really refined style of earlier years Jungle Book still retains much artistic qualities I've always admired from early Disney films.

xeroxed line also had some wonderful consequences while loosing the softness of earlier hand inked films the xerox allows you to see more of the final artist drawing sometimes even the under drawing which i find makes a drawing more alive and expressive.

Story board poses for leg transformation sequence

These were put together for the other artist to use as reference for how to stretch and utilize Aardvarks body keeping it organic pliable and cartoony we were shooting for a Tex Avery feel
with wild takes and extreme reactions and action.These drawings are not all from the sequence but just to get the idea over .Aardvark has just swallowed a mixture to give him supper fast speed the results are comical legs he cant control.
